Anne Neumann is full Professor at the Department of Industrial Economics and Technology at NTNU, Director of Research for NTNU\u2019s Energy Transition Initiative (NETI), Adjunct Professor at NHH and MIT-CEEPR Affiliate. She is serving as President for the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) in 2024.<\/p>\n

Her research experience of almost 20 years draws on industrial organization, competition economics and econometrics. From 2014 until 2018 she served as Vice-President for Publications in the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE; The Energy Journal), am currently Senior Editor with Energy Policy and on the Editorial Board of Economics of Energy and Environmental Policy. Previously she has co-led a working group for the European Academy of Science Advisory Council (EASAC) on \u201cThe future of gas”, participated in several interdisciplinary EU projects, projects funded by the German Ministry for Education and Research and commissioned studies.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> \n\n<\/div> \n

Dr. Sonia Yeh is Professor of Transportation and Energy Systems at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. her expertise focuses on energy economics and energy systems modeling, alternative transportation fuels, sustainability standards, technological change, and consumer behavior and mobility.<\/p>\n

Throughout her career, she has advised and worked extensively with U.S. state and international advisors, policymakers, a wide range of stakeholder groups, and academic researchers in developing climate policies to reduce environmental impacts and greenhouse gas emissions from transportation. She served as a Fulbright Distinguished Professor in Alternative Energy Technology in 2016-2017 and received the H\u00e5kan Frisinger Prize from Volvo Research and Educational Foundations in 2019. She collaborates and provides contributions to international organizations, including the International Energy Agency (IEA), the Convention United Nations Framework on Climate Change, Conferences of the Parties (UNFCCC). COP (working with national and local governments developing tools to develop transport strategies for Nationally Determined Contribution NDCs), International Transport Forum-OECD, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, etc. She is a contributing author of the Transportation chapter of the Sixth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> \n\n<\/div> \n
